Ground Control is an audio-visual production led by Crystal Sound Project in collaboration with Axel Rigaud (modular synthesizers, flute) and Petko Tanchev (video mapping).

The performers take the stage as a ground base for space exploration, offering a sound narration of man's first steps on the moon. The original score for the show integrates audio excerpts from David Bowie's "Space Oddity" and quotes from Lewis Carrol's "Alice Through The Looking Glass" to lead the audience into a space trip where reality is confronted to the absurd.

Ground Control was premiered as part of the "Night" Festival in Plovdiv, European Capital of Culture for 2019. The performance was one of the highlights of the programme and took place in the Ancient Roman Theater in September.
