Viktor Benev was introduced to Sarah Trouche by the curator Bettie Nin in 2020. Shortly after, he was commissioned by Trouche and Gbeffa to compose the music for Didę.

Didę goes beyond community questions and invites us to a sincere and frank encounter with bodies which will be crossed by states, accidents which will write a singular story which questions gender.

To present ourselves, to show... who we are... Then the bodies will become the place where the intimate and the political intertwine between the expression of feelings and the incorporation of oppressions.

In these folds lie social conditions, confrontations between traditions, identity divisions and emancipation.

Didę becomes a slogan and invites to the sharing of an emotion for gender equality.
